SACU Commission

Constitution and Mandate

The Commission consists of senior officials at the level of Permanent secretary, Directors General, Principal Secretaries or other officials of similar rank from the Ministries of Finance and Trade from each Member State.

The Commission is responsible for the implementation of the 2002 SACU Agreement and facilitates the implementation of the decisions of the Council.

The Commission supervises and oversees the work of the SACU Secretariat.
